Uffda!

I could hardly believe it myself. Yes, that's me in a bunad. (boo-nod) This is my first year on the Nordic Fest board. I had my doubts. Plenty of them. But it actually was great fun to be a part of the planning & festing.
We even had 24 contestants in the lutefisk eating contest. We did 4 heats, and then the winners of the heats competed in the finals. I kept saying over & over as I was watching - I just can't believe this!
You know what's funny? Brian commented yesterday on how it was fun that I was involved & how it added to his fun factor, too. He said it was really nice to get to know some new people. He even suggested that I promote more than 1 Nordic Fest per year. (now that's crazy talk!)
